About
From materials science to market systems.
I was trained as an engineer, not as a conventional marketer. My academic background in nanotechnology and microelectronics shaped how I see complex problems: identify the structure, isolate the variables, build a working system, and measure what changes.
Scientific Training
PhD in Nanotechnology through the NUS × MIT Joint Programme, and MSc in Microelectronics from NUS. I was trained to solve problems at the smallest scale with precision and discipline.
Strategic Pivot
Over time, that engineering discipline moved from materials and devices into brands, institutions, and human decisions. I came to see markets not as noise, but as systems that can be understood, structured, and improved.
Current Work
As Founder & CEO of Jeffery Asia, I lead a Singapore-based AI-driven MarTech agency working across education, finance, government, healthcare, and cross-border growth. Jeffery Asia was recognised with the Singapore Prestige Brand Award 2025.
Public Role
Beyond business, I remain active in Singapore’s civic and community life through SFCCA and Jiangsu Association Singapore, with a focus on integration, cultural trust, and cross-border understanding.

My work is built on one operating belief: complex growth problems are not solved by inspiration alone. They require structure.

Define the decision system
Before solving a growth problem, I first define how decisions are actually made: who influences them, what information matters, where trust is formed, and what measurable outcome matters most.

Map the human context
Markets are not abstract audiences. They are people in specific moments, with constraints, ambitions, anxieties, and decision criteria. This is where persona and environment become central.

Build measurable visibility
Visibility is not awareness in the abstract. It must be measurable: who sees the brand, in which channel, under what query, with what interpretation, and against which competitors.

Convert insight into operations
Strategy only matters when it changes routines. I focus on turning insight into workflows, content systems, AI-enabled processes, and operating cadences that teams can actually sustain.
